New Hires
As a benefit-eligible employee, you are automatically eligible in some benefit programs as of your first day at PRUSA - at no cost to you, such as basic life insurance, accidental death insurance, disability (salary continuation) and the employee assistance program.
You may voluntarily elect to enroll in other benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and supplemental life insurance where you contribute toward the cost of coverage. You must complete your benefits enrollment
within 31 days from your hire date (initial eligibility).
These Family Members:
Your spouse or same or opposite sex domestic partner
Each child of you or your spouse (or same or opposite sex domestic partner) through the end of the month of each child’s 26th birthday.

Benefit enrollment is completed through Workday. A “New Hire” benefit enrollment automatically launches when you complete your onboarding. If you cannot see the task in your inbox, that means your onboarding is not completed.

New hires can expect to receive a package from Fidelity approximately 2-3 weeks following your date of hire. When you become eligible to participate in the Plan, you will automatically be enrolled at a 3% pre-tax employee contribution unless you actively elect to change the contribution. Please see 401k page for more information.

If you intend to waive all optional coverages you should still complete your enrollment as some benefits are automatically elected and covered in full by PRUSA which you will need to designate a beneficiary for (i.e. Life Insurance, STD, LTD, AD&D, ComPsych EAP, etc).

Aetna will send a co-branded membership card by mail. This could take up to fifteen business days from enrollment but you can visit their online portals to download temporary cards using your SSN to register.
Metlife Dental and VSP Vision do not provide membership cards. You can find a provider on their website and reference your SSN for billing purposes.

Basic Life, AD&D, Disability and EAP are provided at no cost to you. Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life plans are contributory. You can find the rates on this website and when you complete your enrollment in Workday.

You have 31 days from your hire date to make your initial elections. Otherwise, you can enroll or make changes during the annual open enrollment period for coverage effective January 1 of the next calendar year or you can make mid year changes if you have a qualifying life event, such as birth/adoption of a child or marriage or divorce.
