Fitness Reimbursement
Pernod Ricard USA believes that the practice of physical activities and health programs are beneficial to the employee’s wellbeing. We provide financial assistance to employees who wish to actively participate and join institutions or clubs providing fitness programs.
All full time, regular, salaried and hourly, U.S. based employees are eligible to participate in this reimbursement program as of the first day of the month following their date of hire.
Fitness reimbursement is processed through Workday, instructions below.
You are able to submit at any time and as many times throughout the year as long as it’s before December 1st of each year.
PRUSA reimburses employees for 50% of a total annual fitness center membership fee (employee only) and/or fitness equipment up to a maximum reimbursement amount of $480 per calendar year.
Examples: For example, if you paid $500 for a year’s membership from January through December, you will be eligible to receive $250. If you purchase a treadmill at $1,000, you will be eligible to receive $480.
Eligible Expenses
Employee membership fees/dues at a U.S. based, licensed health club/fitness center that houses equipment and/or provides specialized classes for the purpose of physical exercise.
Personal training sessions by a certified instructor.
Monthly, annual, initial sign up fees and in-home fitness subscriptions & apps.
Facilities are those whose predominant purpose is for physical exercise/fitness activities – including Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Kick- boxing, etc.).
Home exercise/fitness equipment including free weights or belts, exercise mats, treadmills, cross country machines, home gyms, stationary bikes.
Ineligible Expenses
Country club or pool memberships fees
Sports activities or equipment such as, golf clubs, basketball, softball, tennis, racquetball, etc.
A location that is primarily recreational or lesson based (e.g. ice skating, dance classes)
Athletic apparel, footwear and locker rentals.
Massages, spa treatments, medical services or equipment
Weight loss/smoking cessation and similar programs
Non-employee (i.e., Spouse/Domestic Partner, Children) health & fitness club expenses
Physical activity–related games used with gaming systems, exercise DVDs/videos/Blu-ray™
